Hawk IR's ancillary products are designed to complement its range of IR Sightglasses and help facilitate even more detailed infrared inspections.

Use the ILLUMINATE-IR to clearly see and record phase colors, terminal ID numbers, cable markers and many more identifying points using your built in, digital camera! Check for tell-tale signs of problems such as discoloration along with phase colors, cable idents, relay numbers etc easily and quickly. Your camera's onboard power system will automatically activate the ILLUMINATE-IR system after the IR image is saved and link the digital image taken using ILLUMINATE-IR to your IR image.

When scanning low emissivity targets such as copper and aluminium, eliminating the tell-tales signs of reflection is challenging at best. By using diffuse reflectors and blocking out concentrated heat sources much of this reflection can be removed. With its unique conical machining and forward facing internal ridges the Hawk IR ACCURATE-IR reflects stray IR radiation away from the detector hence reducing background reflection dramatically.

In some equipment types, not all monitoring points can be seen regardless of IR window position or the use of wide angle lenses. To overcome this problem, Hawk IR have developed the REFLECT-IR range of IR mirrors specifically designed for permanent installation into switchgear.
With correctly positioned Hawk IR Sightglasses and REFLECT-IR products there is virtually no area that cannot be covered.

Designed specifically for use with the FLIR A20 series of cameras, the Hurricane offers environmental protection to IP65. Constructed of extruded and pressure die cast aluminium the Hurricane is durable and robust enough for most automation applications.
